Ferris Bueller returns

Posted in News by - January 27, 2012

Remember Ferris Buellers’ day off? It’s a classic film from the eighties featuring a young Matthew Broderick as he engages in maximum truancy, while being pursued by a relentless school principal.

Now, it appears that the master of hooky has returned. For about ten seconds. In a short clip for an advert. Bear with me here, because of Broderick is planning a sequel to the cult classic film, then I’m already booking a spot right now in the ticket line.

Just what is Bueller getting ready to advertise? A sequel? Bed Linens? Ferris Buellers Day off spa and snack bar? Who knows, but all will be revealed during Super Bowl XLVI on February 5th.

I thought Broderick himself said that a sequel wouldn’t work as Bueller as a character could only exist at that age

When your last notable role was the godawful US Godzilla, you would also change your mind when someone asked you to revisit your most famous role :)

If this is a teaser for something during the Superbowl, I reckon it is actually an ad for some product or something.
