I personally love super-hero and movie character memorablilia, which is why I’m sitting with a box full of Batman suit parts at the moment, as I’m busy trying to recreate the suit from The Dark Knight.
Of course, not everyone knows where to pick this stuff up, and you’d be hard pressed to find any movie execs who want to give up any of the shiny props that came from their sets.
Unless you happen to stumble on the right auction that is.
Provided that you have Tony Stark levels of wealth, you just might be able to pick up enough gear for you and your friends, which would make the attendance for the Avengers film that much more memorable.
Profiles in History is going to be auctioning off suits and props from previous Marvel Comics super-hero films, such as Captain America, Thor and Iron Man.
Here’s a look at what will be on offer.
I need that hammer of Thor. I’m totally worthy enough to pick it up, and not use it for evil.

Did you know the grenade launcher attachment on Tony Montana’s little friend in Scarface was the exact same one used in Predator?
There is only one piece of movie prop I’d go for: something Xenomorph from the Alien films. I’d even settle for a Alien prop that was used in the AVPs.
