Over the last few years, Sylvester Stallone has been working his veiny butt cheeks off to revive the “real man’s” action film. One way he’s done this is by reprising his role as ex-army veteran and monosyllabic walking death machine, John Rambo, in 2008’s Rambo.

A sequel to the ultra violent film was promised but we haven’t heard all that much since then. Understandable, as Stallone has probably been too busy hosting the most badass 80’s themed costume party the world has ever seen with The Expendables 1 & 2.

Now Sly has finally spilled some details to Movie Web, and frankly it’s a doozy. Especially if you’re Latino or perhaps thinking of selling Rambo some life insurance.

When asked about Rambo: The Last Stand, the proposed sequel, Stallone had this to say:

“I’m dying to do another Rambo. He’s in Arizona on the border. It will involve him going into Mexico. I don’t think Rambo likes Mexicans.”

Doesn’t like Mexicans? But salsa, burritos, Speedy Gonzales!!

Sylvester was then asked the very grave question about whether or not this will be the end for the character, allowing him to finally die, and answered in no uncertain terms:

“Yeah.”

Clearly, Sly does not give a damn about spoilers.

He went on to explain his line of thinking behind why he wants to play the character one last time, and what convinced him that this was the final hurrah:

Rocky is me after coffee. Rambo has reverted into kind of like an id: primitive, reactive and instinctual, almost like an animal. I love this character because he hasn’t quite been fleshed out. He’s like an errant knight, looking to die in a glorious fashion. He has no desire to go into old age or have a family. In the book, Rambo gets killed. I thought it was not the proper message. There had been close to 200,000 suicides by returning Vietnam vets. I said, “Why don’t we take him right to the edge without annihilating him?” Quentin Tarantino said, “You’re a coward, you should have killed him!” I said, “Quentin, you’re a lunatic. I want to do some sequels, brother.”

Now I don’t know about you guys, but it’s become quite obvious to me now that Quentin Tarantino is a Mexican sympathizer.

I will cry if Rambo dies. And I’m not ashamed to say that.
