There’s no shortage of films coming out in the next few years, but the key question that most people are still asking is when exactly will said films release in their respective years, as people have to update their schedules, y’know?

Well, in anticipation of that question, and wanting to stay on the radar, Warner Bros. recently announced the release dates for three such films.

First on the list is a third Hangover film, starring the usual suspects in what will most likely be a second retelling of the first film, although the producers are promising us that amnesia orgy of previous films will be dropped for the threequel, in favour of a LA based plot that features Alan escaping from a mental hospital.

It’s going to be releasing on May 24 next year, and will face some competition from Fast and Furious 6, as well as the animated film Leafman.

Are you a fan of muscley greeks in leather undies who kick all kinds of ass? Then the next 300 film is for you then, as Battle of Artemesia is scheduled for release on August 2nd, next year.

It’s going to be forming up a phalanx position for an assault from a second wave of The Smurfs and Red 2 in the process.

Last on the list is the upcoming Guillermo del Toro monster film Pacific Rim, which the director says will feature “The finest fucking monsters ever committed to screen”. And after seeing his work in Hellboy, Blade and Pans Labyrinth, I do believe him.

Pacific Rim stars Charlie Humman, Idris Elba, Rinko Kikuchi and Willem Dafoe, and is due for a July 12 release next year. It’s going to be up against a sequel to Grown Ups.

I’m banking on the monsters this time.
