There is a trend currently in Hollywood that is driving me positively loco. No, I’m not talking hack job 3D conversions or Channing Tatum’s abs being cast in everything. No, I’m referring to teaser trailers for full length trailers, my ire for which has been been well documented on this site.
So when I read the headline proclaiming that Expendables 2 was also taking a trip down this stygian path, I was expectedly perturbed.
But then I actually watched it.
Now maybe it’s just because it’s an angry black man, who looks more than physically capable of turning my face into a Jackson Pollock painting, screaming at me to like it, but I’ll be damned if this doesn’t actually get me really pumped to see the full trailer.
Yes sir, Mr Terry Crews, sir! I’ll be here on Thursday, sir!

I love how the actual footage of the film is literally nothing but explosion after explosion.
