Things get kind of jolly in these 17 new images for Prometheus

Up until now, all the images released for Ridley Scott’s highly vaunted return to science-fiction, Prometheus, has been rather dark and gloomy. Which is perfectly understandable as you tend to not want to Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers it up, when you’ve just discovered an alien threat of apocalyptic proportions that has the potential to wipe out our entire species. So yeah, no singing and dancing.

Clearly, nobody told that to Noomi Rapace, Charlize Theron and Michael Fassbender though, as they posed for these on set pics, which will be featured in a new issue of Entertainment Weekly.

Synopsis:

Visionary filmmaker Ridley Scott returns to the genre he helped define, creating an original science fiction epic set in the most dangerous corners of the universe. The film takes a team of scientists and explorers on a thrilling journey that will test their physical and mental limits and strand them on a distant world, where they will discover the answers to our most profound questions and to life’s ultimate mystery.

You’re on a South African movie blog with the man your man could be as big a film geek as. What’s in your hand? Back at me. I have it. It’s a warm box of freshly popped popcorn, butter melted awesomeness wafting in your face just like you like. Look again, the popcorn is now diamonds. Anything is possible when your man stops watching Michael Bay movies. I’m on a horse.
