Resident tiger blood drinker and Mr Winning hasn’t been in the news too much lately. His stand up shows have been less than successful, and sooner or later, those, er, habits of his will require some extra income.
Fortunately, he’s got some work lined up, as Charlie Sheen is set to protray none other than the American president, in the upcoming Robert Rodriguez blade-a-thon, Machete Kills.
Following in the West Wing footsteps of his father, Martin Sheen, Charlie was confirmed to be in the film through a tweet from director Robert Rodriguez, with the actor tweeting as well shortly afterwords.
Rodriguez: “I just cast Charlie Sheen in #machetekills as the President of the United States! Who better? More soon…
Sheen: “My Fellow Americans! RT @Rodriguez just cast @Charlie Sheen #machetekills as President of the United States! Who better? More soon!”
Honestly, I can’t wait to see Sheen flex some of that trademark insanity in this off the wall sequel. Maybe we’ll also get to see the statesman don his red bandana and kick some ass alongside the former federale.
