We kick off today with a new teaser trailer for Liam Neeson Kills The Whole Eastern Europe Again aka Taken 2. This new trailer is mostly the same as the first one, but has a few extra scenes of Bryan Mills putting his particular set of skills to use.
Collider has a rundown of all the added extras to be included on the Prometheus Blu Ray. I was very disappointed to not see the featurette “How To Step 2 Feet To the Left and Not Die” included in the list. Here’s the bullet point version of what is included:

Instead of making movies, Brad Pitt is probably spending his time busy trying to calm people down as his mom (his real life one, not the one who wanted a caravan and likes dags) wrote an anti-gay, anti-Obama letter to a local newspaper calling the US president “a liberal who supports the killing of unborn babies and same-sex marriage”.
You’ll hear me describing Mondo as the greatest movie poster makers on the face of this planet, and when you look at their new Lord of the Rings series it’s not hard to see why.
Chris Pine spoke to Slashfilm about Star Trek 2 and he discussed the pacing of the film as well as the group dynamic of this young crew.
“The movie is relentless and for the visually inclined people who want to see major sequences, there are a couple specifically that I think… I’m not a huge 3D fan, but I think will be incredible. But what I’m more excited about and what I think they did so well is that really the story is that much better, and the journey that these guys go on is that much more [involving].
Even though they’re a crew from what we know about the original team, the fun of getting there is following that journey to where they become that tight-knit crew. It’s no fun if they’re already a tight-knit crew, so suffice it to say, they’re still learning how to get along.”

There’s a new IMAX poster out for The Dark Knight Rises that sees Batman watching as Gotham burns. C’mon, Batman. What could possibly be so important up in the sky that you’re ignoring your city being turned into a barbeque?
Naomi Watts’ Princess Diana biopic Caught in Flight, has gone through a title change and will now just be known as Diana. This just reeks of a focus-group driven decision.
Nick Frost has released the first video blog for Cuban Fury, his new fiery feet comedy in which he stars as “A former salsa prodigy attempts a comeback years after his career was ruined by a rival dancer.” The video blog has Frost introduce the main cast, and also divulge far too much info about his bodily functions than we needed to know.
I need to thank Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, because after being exposed to such an absurd concept for so long, it seems that I’ve built up an immunity to kooky ideas. Which is probably I barely raised an eyebrow at the lunacy of Sherlock Holmes vs Frankenstein.

When it comes to having games adopting a more cinematic approach, it could be argued that Valve’s Half Life was the progenitor of it all. Since then, the game developing giant has showed off some amazingly cinematic gaming experiences that rival and in some cases exceed some more traditional films.
They created these experiences using their their custom filmmaking software suite, Source Filmmaker, and in a rather bold move they have made it available for free. Yep, free, gratis, nada. So now aspiring filmmakers can use this tool to create their own cinematic visions. Bravo, Valve. Bravo.
I’m pretty sure that virtually none of you have heard of the actor Jeremiah McDonald before. He’s acted in just about nothing of importance, but today he is claiming a number of headlines on the interwebs. The reason, is this little video he made where the 32-year old McDonald answers the questions of a 12-year old boy. The catch? Jeremiah McDonald is the 12-year old boy. 20 years ago, armed with a VHS Video Camera and a whole lot of patience, Jeremiah set about making a video where he could ask his future self all the important questions in life (Like “Do you still like Doctor Who?”) and the result is pretty damn cool.
