Ah, Tony Stark, the only billionaire in the world who can walk around in public in a flying suit of weaponry that he has labelled as a prosthetic device. While actor Robert Downey Jr may steal the show as the wisecracking philanthropist, it doesn’t hurt to have some high-tech eye candy on display.

So feast your eyes, on the entire fall line-up of Tony Stark Iron Man armour!

Man, I haven’t seen that much gold since that afternoon when I accidentally stumbled into the playa hata’s club. While I’m digging the design of this specific suit, that paint job needs a touch more red, unless Stark has designed this suit to be the Mark 1% version of his armour.

Comingsoon.net snapped a whole bunch of pictures of the assembled armoury, dating from the first Iron Man suit to the latest. Here’s the rest of them:

Seeing as how Stark is a futurist who is forever tinkering with his suit, I wouldn’t be surprised if this is the armour that the film starts off with, before Stark eventually upgrades to something better during the course of the movie events, thanks to the Extremis virus.

As for the rest of the cast, it’s a pretty diverse line-up so far. Notably, Ben Kingsley has been floating around, but no one happens to know who exactly he is in the film. Is he a terrorist, or a rival business-man? Nope, it turns out, that Kingsley is indeed and officially, the Mandarin, as the footage shown at the San Diego Comic Con revealed the talented thespian slipping on some familiar rings, while he ascended to a throne and uttered the following line;

“If you beg for mercy, you will be silenced.”

Iron Man 3 is currently still filming, for a May 2013 release.

    As much as I’m looking forward to Iron Man 3, I’m hoping and praying that that is not the final colour scheme. That is just just plain fugly.
