Now that rubberfaced comedian Jim Carrey’s pretty much been confirmed as The Colonel, it’s time for production on Kick-Ass 2 to go balls to the wall (See what I did there?). We’ve already seen the casting of Andy Nyman as the villainous Tumour, a member of The Red Mist’s (Christopher Mintz-Plasse) very naughty named supervillain team, but we still have no idea who is playing Red Mist’s sadistic Soviet second in command, Mother Russia.

Well, thanks to some tweets from director Jeff Wadlow, we might not know who’s playing her, but we know that she sure as hell looks the part!

Dey say dat in America you break law, but in Mother Russia… law break you!

Jeff tweeted the above pic with the message “Chris just met Mother Russia!”, although judging by the look on his face it should probably have read “Chris just went poopy in his pants”. The third main member of the Toxic Mega-Cunts (told you it was a naughty name) is supposed to be a towering Amazon, and they certainly seemed to have nailed that casting.

Wadlow also tweeted more pics such as Mother Russia’s very fitting gigantic knife, some character costumes (Wait, is that a Big Daddy costume? But didn’t he…?) as well the Ducati that after a couple of paint jobs will become the possession of one diminutive killer.

“We just got Hit-Girl’s bike. Guess what colour we’re going to paint it?”

To which Chloe Moretz responded “I am totally keeping it”.

“You’re gonna have to fight Mother Russia for it…” retorted Wadlow. Yeah, I’d let this one go Chloe. No need to ruin that cute face of yours so early in your career. There’ll be plenty of drugs and parties for that later.

Kick-Ass 2: Balls To The Wall stars Aaron Johnson, Chloe Moretz, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Jim Carrey, John Leguizamo, Donald Faison, Robert Emms, Morris Chestnut and Lindy Booth and is scheduled for release on June 28, 2013.
