There's claws and veins popping in this official first look at THE WOLVERINE

It’s hard to believe, but Hugh Jackman has been popping claws and taking names as the iconic Wolverine, AKA Logan AKA James Howlett for over 12 years now. Two great X-Men films, one terrible third X-Men X-perience and an underwhelming spin-off later, and the berserker is back for another stab. Logan is headed to Japan for the new flick, and besides some set pics, we’ve seen little to nothing of the man himself.

Until now that is.

Courtesy of the official The Wolverine Twitter account, here’s a first look at Hugh Jacked-Man. Ladies, and guys we guess, you can thank us later.

According to this pic, it looks like Logan has somehow gained the mutant power of incredible photoshop skills, something which myself and Kervyn already possess, but with less abs.

Oh, want to feel extra bad while you scoop a spoonful of muscle powder down your throat? Hugh Jaction also happens to be 43 years of age, and is still more chiselled than a Renaissance sculpture.

Based on the celebrated comic book arc, “The Wolverine” finds Logan, the eternal warrior and outsider, in Japan. There, samurai steel will clash with adamantium claw as Logan confronts a mysterious figure from his past in an epic battle that will leave him forever changed.

Directed by James Mangold, The Wolverine stars Hugh Jackman, Will Yun Lee, Svetlana Khodchenkova, Hiroyuki Sanada, Hal Yamanouchi, Tao Okamoto, Rila Fukushima and Brian Tee, and is out next year July.

    Holy abdominal muscles, Batman!

Is it just me though, or has Jackman got more shredded but lost quite a bit of mass? He used to be much bulkier than that.
