The smell of money is too strong, because TAKEN 3 is on the cards!

There’s trouble at the Mill(s house) pa! Despite being a tamer experience, Liam Neeson and his summer vacation film that showcased his population control skills in Europe has still been a big success. Taken 2 has managed to make over $122 million globally, and it looks like that momentum could propel it even further.

Not bad for a movie that cost $45 million to make. Which means that another sequel will be inevitable, according to 20th century Fox.

Even though Batman coach and former jedi Liam Neeson was doubtful that a third film would be made, Taken co-writers and producers Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen have more takening plans in mind for Bryan Mills.

“We didn’t start talking about Taken 3 until we saw the numbers,” Kamen said to Hollywood.com. “But then we said, ‘Oh, okay. I think we should do a third one.’ And Fox wants us to do a third one.”

So how exactly would a third Taken film even work? Chinese triads stealing Bryan Mills stamp collection? Fortunately not, as Kamen says that a new direction will be needed for a potential third film;

We’ve taken everyone we can take — it’s going to go in another direction. Should be interesting.

Thank goodness. The last thing that anyone wants to see is a 3D film with Mills trying to find his cranky mother, who complains that he never visits her while he’s busy taking down most of Canada.

And hopefully, a third film could have some actual teeth to it, instead of some watered down violence.
