Rick Baker to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

Posted in News by - November 16, 2012

When it comes to recognition, nothing beats people walking all over your good name. Because at the Hollywood walk of fame, that’s where actors, directors and other influential people in the industry are honoured. And now, finally, make up and prop-master Rick Baker is going to be plunging his hands into some cold cement, as he will be receiving that honour.

Rick Baker, who rose to fame creating the practical effects for films such as An American Werewolf in London, Men in Black, Videodrome and Planet of the Apes, will be getting his star outside the Guinness World Record Museum on November 30.

And it’s about damn time that his many, many achievements have been noticed and awarded by the Hollywood elite. Well done Baker, well done.
