Logan is going to have hard Nippons in this motion poster for THE WOLVERINE

I’ll say one thing about the next chapter in the cinematic saga of The Wolverine – It looks damn artsy. While a film needs more than pretty visuals to sell itself with critics, that approach is often a license to print cash when done right, that attracts audiences to the movie in question.

And speaking of gimmicky visuals, here’s one right now, as Logan ponders whether or not he’s about to rust while he does his super hero thang in Japan, courtesy of 20th Century Fox.

Seeing as how it currently is trailer season, expect one soon for the upcoming James Mangold directed film. In it, the Canadian berserker finds himself in current day Tokyo, stuck in the middle of a brutal gang war that pushes him past his breaking point.

Weakened, vulnerable and in deep s&*t, Logan needs to find the man within the beast, as he goes toe to toe with the more dangerous side of the land of the rising sun.

Or Tuesday, as Wolvie calls it.

The Wolverine is is out next year July (IN 3D OHMAHGERD!), and stars Hugh Jackman, Will Yun Lee, Svetlana Khodchenkova, Hiroyuki Sanada, Hal Yamanouchi, Tao Okamoto, Rila Fukushima and Brian Tee.
