I’m the best there is at what I do, and what I do is star in numerous films as an iconic comic book character…bub. While Hugh Jackman may have given one of the best two word cameos in recent years for X-Men: First Class, there were some concerns over whether or not he would reappear for the sequel.
After all, an X-men film without Wolverine is like tea without sugar or monocles. But it looks like Jackman will indeed return to pop some claws and heads once again, for the First Class sequel.
As seems to be the norm these days, director Bryan Singer tweeted the good news last night about the latest addition to the Days of Future Past film;

So what’s that more to come info then? It sounds like Jackman will be in for a more substantial role this time around, fresh off of filming for the solo Wolverine film, and comic book fans know just how pivotal his role is in that film anyway.
Days of Future Past is going to be a challenge for Singer and writer Simon Kinberg, as he’ll need to find a way to bridge past, present and future X-Men incarnations against a backdrop of mutant persecution and Sentinel robots in a Big Brother environment. Y’know, if Big Brother had a fleet of giant robots that could vaporise the flesh from your bones.
Hopefully with Jackman on board, we’ll see a few more familiar faces pop up again. I hear that Halle Berry needs a decent paycheck…
