Seeing as how we happen to be running a site here that has more than its fair share of Doctor Who fans, we’re kind of duty bound to update y’all with any information regarding our favourite master of wibbly wobbly timey wimey stuff.
After a great first half in the seventh season of the cinematic show that saw laughs, thrills and sadness aplenty, the series went on a brief break, returning with a Christmas special and a few surprises. Now, we’ve got a second half to still wait for, as the iconic British sci-fi show celebrates it’s 50th anniversary this year. It’s all waiting, a question hidden in plain sight, waiting for the Doctor on the fields on Trenzalore. But the other more important question is, when the hell does he return exactly?
And the return of the man who has seen everything that ever was or will be according to BBC Gallifrey, is March 30.
That’s an earlier start date than was originally surmised, as new seasons of Doctor Who have usually arrived for a late April release in previous years. Matt SMith is back, as is Jenna Louise Coleman as his spunky new companion Clara Oswald, who has a few secrets up her sleeve as the woman who happens to be “twice dead”.
Here’s the sizzle reel from the Christmas special last year that sums up the remaining episodes. Run to it, and remember the question. Doctor Who?
