The JUSTICE LEAGUE movie will feature five core heroes

Warner Bros has a plan, and it involves an attempt to make some big bucks in the near future with some brightly clad heroes. While Justice League may be missing a few essential parts, such as a director, official go-date, actors, producers or even a proper script, at least it has a villain! Right, that’s kinda good, isn’t it?

Well, now the film has something else at least. An idea as to which five heroes will headline the movie, when the green light finally turns on.

The always reliable Latino Review says that the Justice League movie will feature the likes of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern and the Flash. While, Supes, Bats and WW are an obvious choice due to the fact that they form the more recognisable trinity of characters for the big screen, it’s also a wise decision to keep the cast at a manageable size.

Make no mistake, Warner Bros is going to sink some serious cash into this, and focusing on only five main characters can keep costs down and the focus tighter. While the in development Will Beall script will only focus on those five though, there’s still a chance for heroes such as Martian Manhunter, Aquaman and for some reason, Hawkman to make an appearance.

But with those five headlining, there’s ample room to grow a film that will most likely be about the uniquely different capes learning to work together as a team for the first time against overwhelming odds yadda yadda yadda. With Man of Steel arriving later this year, the possibility of a Justice League film will depend on the success of that solo hero at the box office.

But if it’s a go, then that’s a solid line up that Warner Bros has in mind for when they take on The Avengers.
