Some movies, sucker you in with a misleading title. After all, I’d have never watched the King’s Speech had I known that they had cast some stuttering fool for the lead role. And then you’ve got Big Ass Spider. It’s about a spider. A really, really big spider. So big in fact, that it derserves to have a song written about the size of its abdomen by Sir Mix-a-lot.
Here’s the very honest trailer, with a very honest warning as to what will happen to anyone who pirates it.
Bad special effects, actors and the fact that this is a giant monster movie? Hell count me in. The film stars Greg “Heroes” Grunberg and Lombardo Boyar as the exterminators called in to help put a stop to the giant arachnid that is currently doing whatever a spider can in Los Angels, with Clare Kramer and Ray Wise also on board.
Mike “The Convent” Mendez directs, and the film is out later this year. Meanwhile, keep an eye out for the eventual Asylum knock-off, Huge Butt Arachnid.

God yes. Hopefully they sort those effects out. Though shoddy effects might be part of its charm
