Indy joins ANCHORMAN: THE LEGEND CONTINUES

I love Anchorman, I always have…and I’m not alone in this. Hardly a day goes by without me overhearing an Anchorman quote and it has never, ever stopped being hilarious. When Anchorman: The Legend Continues was announced as a proper sequel to the film, the entire world rejoiced as we all knew that in the relatively near future we will be able to watch it while drinking a fine scotch which will go down, down, down into our bellies. A new scrap of news is sure to get our geek jaws a-yappin’, though…

It seems like Henry Jones Jnr. himself has joined the cast in a role very similar to his part in Morning Glory, which I always thought was quite aptly named as it stars the beautiful Rachel McAdams. Mr. Ford will play the part of a new anchor and I can only assume that there will be quite  a bit of conflict between him and the original Channel 4 News Team.

According to Comingsoon, he is a busy man at the moment so I reckon we should consider ourselves fortunate that he is able to class up the cast of Anchorman: The Legend Continues even more! His upcoming films include a Jackie Robinson biopic, 42, a thriller called Paranoia, the much anticipated Ender’s Game and of course he will be seen as Han Solo once again in Star Wars: Episode VII.

Okay, let me quickly take a deep breath before reciting the rest of the cast. Will Ferrell, Steve Carell, David Koechner, Paul Rudd, Christina Applegate, Kristen Wiig, James Marsden, Dylan Baker and Meagan Good. I am quite excited about Kristen Wiig joining the cast, since Bridesmaids I have held her in quite high regard and her SNL pedigree will definitely shine through with the rest of the SNL alumni.

All I know is, I hope the news station is safe from bears this time.
