Here at The Movies, we often rant about some of the seemingly terrible decisions Hollywood executives make, especially when it comes to things like unnecessary remakes, interfering too much in the film making process…and still giving Lindsey Lohan and Rob Schneider jobs. Well, I think you guys might want to sit down for this one.

As I mentioned above, it seems like someone out there is still willing to give Rob Schneider and Lindsey Lohan parts in films  – whoever their agents are, I bet they can sell ice to an Eskimo. A dead Eskimo. That is all good an well as we’ve learned what to expect from Mr. Schneider and Miss. Lohan, but what boggles my mind is that they have managed to drag Adrien Brody down with them.

Here is what Comingsoon had to say:

Set for release on March 22, InAPPropriate Comedy is described as a no-holds barred sketch movie starring Brody as “Flirty Harry,” a tough, no nonsense cop with a soft middle and a flair for fashion; Schneider in a dual role as both a sleazy, horny psychologist and a curmudgeonly porn critic alongside his enthusiastic counterpart Rodriguez; Lohan living out her fantasy of taking an ultimate revenge on the salivating paparazzi who haunt her, and Shaffir as “The Amazing Racist,” whose hilariously offensive hidden-camera encounters with members of different ethnic and minority groups push everyone’s buttons.

Sketch comedy is a very fickle mistress. Even a master like Sacha Baron Cohen only manages a few hits between just as many misses in his own skits, so when it is left up to Lindsay Lohan, Rob Schneider, Michelle Rodriguez and Adrien Brody – four of the most unfunny celebrities in Hollywood, I can’t say that I have much faith in this film being anything but eye-gougingly terrible.

Judge for yourself though, if you dare:

Well, that’s it, I’m going to go watch Mean Girls again to remind myself of what could have been.

The video’s not working… and I’m kinda glad. On second thought, I really don’t need to subject myself to watching that.

I think Adrien Brody is doing a ‘Cuba Gooding Jnr’.

That’s when you win an Oscar and you’re critically lauded but then you make kak choices and your career slips deeper and deeper into Shit-Movie Quicksand.

There’s no escape from Shit-Movie Quicksand
