Colin Trevorrow talks JURASSIC PARK 4 rumours and kills a few spoilers

It’s not easy keeping a movie plot under wraps these days. Heck, I doubt that George Lucas could have kept The Empire Strikes Back plot twist secret if he had filmed the scene in this age of Twitter accounts and cell phone snooping.

Jurassic Park 4 has just as many rumours floating around about what that film could be about. And they’re all wrong so far.

Speaking on the Jurassic Park Podcast (Really, not the Parkcast?), director Colin Trevorrow spoke about his love for the film franchise. Naturally. One thing that Trevorrow did not do though, is drop a few spoilers. Instead, he spoke about some of the assumptions that had sprung up on the internet regarding the upcoming film:

I saw some of the rumors on the internet and I would have all kinds of red flags going off if I heard they were going to muzzle a T-Rex. So I would say don’t believe everything you read, there are way more insiders on the internet than there are in real life.

Confused? Don’t be, as Trevorrow was addressing some plot rumours from back in June about Jurassic Park having finally relaunched itself as a family friendly theme park that attracted millions of people from all over the world to flock to its shores. And then everything naturally goes wrong. Trevorrow added:

It’s important to make a movie for the fans but I also have to remember that there’s a lot of people who just couldn’t care less and need me to make a solid case for why the hell there’s a ‘Jurassic Park 4’ in the first place and I want to make a movie for them too.

Makes sense. I’m just hoping that whatever the final outcome is, it isn’t about half-man dinosaur hybrids wrecking up the island at night.

Lol. Whatever it eventually is, these films are always fun. I’m going to go see it.
