You are entering the vicinity of an area adjacent to a location. The kind of place where there might be a monster, or some kind of weird mirror. These are just examples; it could also be something much better. Prepare to enter: The Twilight Zone.
And if he has his way, expect Joseph “Tron Legacy” Kosinski to step into that zone.
Kosinksi may not be directing flicks which pull in ridiculous box office levels of cash, but there’s no denying that the man knows how to create a visual work of art. Tron Uprising and Oblivion are two of those examples, but it looks like he may be casting his lens towards the long in development Twilight Zone film once he wraps up work on a remake of Disney’s The Black Hole.
Based on the cult TV show from 1959, it looks like Kosinski will start from scratch with this film and abandon all the scripts that came before he arrived according to THR. There’s no word yet on what structure this new take on the film will have, but hopefully it won’t be as horribly cursed as the 1983 version from directors John Landis, George Miller, Steven Spielberg and Joe Dante.

Twilight Zone… As far as I know it was in the same format as the much beloved Outer Limits where each episode showcased an entirely new sci-fi or horror short story. How do you do that in a film?
