Grant Justin will be THE FLASH

Must cast faster! With Green Arrow proving to be a hit on TV, the next step is to start dressing up more actors in tights. And avoid the Smallville effect hopefully. Arrow will take that first step in its second season when it reintroduces the Flash to TV. So who’s going to be suiting up as the Scarlet Speedster? Why none other than Grant “Glee” Justin. the_flash

Justin will be zipping into the second season of Arrow, for a debut appearance in episodes 8 and 9, before laying low until the 20th episode which will help launch a pilot episode for a possible Flash TV show. The three episodes that Justin stars in will set up his origin, and will be written by Arrow scribes Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg, with regular Flash comic book writer Geoff Johns also contributing. According to THR who broke the news, Justin will be playing the Barry Allen incarnation of the fastest man alive:

Barry Allen is described as a Central City assistant police forensic investigator who arrives in Starling to look into a series of unexplained robberies that may have a connection to a tragedy in his past. A comic book fanboy, Barry is obsessed with the Arrow unaware that working with Oliver and Felicity to solve the crime has brought him right into the dangerous world of the vigilante.

As for the Flash TV series, expect another realistic take on a popular hero. Well, as realistic as it can get when you’re dealing with a man that can run fast enough to break time itself.

I’m waiting impatiently for the next season. Arrow is far better than I expected it to be.

I am embarrassed to say I really have had fun with it. I like the flash backs the most!

Me too lol. Slade kicks arse & his constant mockery is hilarious.

You know what else is actually really good… and I would have died before watching it but for a friend’s recommendation… The Vampire Diaries. It’s got it’s moments of melodrama & angst, but the rest is rock solid.

YOU ARE DEAD TO ME! Feel shame! I used to get made to watch VD with the ex-gf. And she had to ‘convince’ me to watch with her… Looking forward to Shield, so much win!
