Who doesn’t like the trailer-for-a-trailer trend? I mean, we all love collecting every tiny scrap of information about movies we’re excited about, obsessing over every tidbit and hyping ourselves into frothing puddles of freaked-out-fandom and – bah, who am I kidding?
Like we saw yesterday with Captain America: The Winter Soldier’s 10 second teaser, whetting your appetite on some disjointed cuts from a longer trailer is more frustrating than it is fun. At least with the Captain America teaser, the full trailer released a day later. Unfortunately this is not the case with the X-Men: Days of Future Past teaser that was released on Instagram last night.
Treating us to a whole 6 seconds of footage, the trailerception also served to announce that the full trailer will be dropping on 29 October. But, if you’re interested in split-second flashes of your favourite X-Men interspersed with shots of close up eye balls, motorcades and exploding glass, then this one is for you! (You’re in a very niche market, you know that right?)

Which is like the redundant captain redundant telling us he’s redundant.

to be fair, its only one more working day than the gap between the captain america teaser and trailer, i guess the captain america guys had the advantage of dropping a midweek teaser…

I will watch any X-Men movie really. With ALL of the X-Men. Not just Wolverine… Seriously the last Wolverine movie was just down right boring…
