I must be one of the few folks around that is actually looking forward to the Robocop reboot. I’m a sucker for shiny neew designs and explosions, and baby, that recent trailer hit all the right buttons for me. Of course, some folks still aren’t keen on Robocop 2.0, which is most likely why a new trailer is on the way, to help sell them on the film.
And what better way to drum up some hype, than with pretty pictures of the cast?
Straight from the Facebook page for Robocop come the following images, which don’t tell you more than you already know.
RoboCop is directed by Jose Padilha. It’ll be touring the streets of Detroit on February 12, 2014.

I am actually also excited about this. So much hate, come on people. You all raged about the new iteration of the Joker, then went on to want his babies.

Batman has had many iterations throughout the years and that I can accept but this unfortunately falls into my never remake category. Let me list my reasons:
1.The Time Machine
2.Clash of the Titans
3.Total Recall
4.Conan
5.Lone Ranger (technically remade from tv series but it horrible enough to make it on my list)
I am sure there are many more but these are recent disasters.

Indeed. Casino Royal was the biggest load of crap but Skyfall was absolute Bond Bliss.

Verhoeven has an x-factor that others can’t seem to replicate. The Starship Troopers sequels, the godawful Basic Instinct 2 and the soulless Total Recall remake show that. Now maybe Robocop breaks the trend, but I’m not gonna get my hopes up. Count me as on the fence with this one.
