X-Men Days of Future Past - Line Up

If there’s one trend picking up in big budget films lately, it’s that studios are more than willing to greenlight not one but multiple sequels if they can. That’s the case with the upcoming X-Men First Class Sequel, Days of Future Past, as that’ll be followed up in 2016 by X-Men: Apocalypse.

Will Singer be back to direct yet another X-Men film? Even he doesn’t know, but one thing that is certain, is that Apocalypse will be taking a more historical look at mutant rights issues.Speaking to EW, Singer explained that the chance for him to direct the film all hinged on negotiations and his current work schedule:

I’m negotiating to direct. We’re in the process. We’re trying to figure it out, schedules. My desire would be to direct it.

Singer also explained that Days of Future Past could possibly buck the trend of comic book movies and not even include a teaser at the end of that flick for Apocalypse:

I’m still deciding that. Something that happens in this movie causes what’s going to happen in that movie.

But one thing that Singer does want to do, is give the film some history to build on:

It will also address historical mutant-cy, meaning the deep past, mutant origins and things like that. It’s something that’s always intrigued me when we think about our Gods and our history and miracles and powers.

Before we even get to the apocalypse, we’ve still got to watch the Future get messed up. Days of Future Past is out on May 27, and stars  Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Hugh Jackman, Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Halley Berry, Nicholas Hoult, Ellen Page, Shawn Ashmore, Peter Dinklage, Omar Sy and Daniel Cudmore.

Dude, if we get as in “THE APOCOLYPSE” I will cry for days. Ive wanted a IRL movie adaption of him since I first read about him as a lightey. It would be fucking rad, as long as they treat it with a little more seriousness and a little less plasticky 2 year old funny haha knee slapstick kak they’ve been dishing out in the past.
