Welcome to The Extras! A daily dose of all the smaller movie related news, clips and just plain cool stuff that you might have missed!
Much like FaceBook, even The Movies isn’t immune to showing you pictures of pregnant ladies and babies. Bearing that in mind, here’s your first look at a preggers Zoe Saldana in the remake of Rosemary’s Baby. A supernatural thriller, Saldana finds herself knocked up with something evil, while her neighbors plot against her.
To put more baby pictures on FaceBook. Probably.
She may have been a slave for twelve years, but Lupita Nyong’o is getting more than just 15 minutes of fame and her name horribly mispronounced after her Oscar win. The actress is bucking the Oscar curse for the Star Wars curse now, as Latino Review reports that she recently met up with JJ Abrams for a role in Star Wars Episode 7.
Much like everyone else in Hollywood right now, actually. Hopefully, she won’t be spending 12 years as an alien slave, owned by Fassbender the Hutt.
Speaking of Star Wars, is this the logo for Star Wars Episode 7: The Revenge of Jar Jar Abrams? I really, really hope it isn’t.

And thanks to that unhealthy pursuit of love, I might now finally be interested in watching American Sniper. The film has been chopping and changing directors for months, as the Bradley Cooper starring film has attempted to enter production.
Taking one step further, Miller will join Cooper as the female lead in the military drama based on the Chris Kyle autobiography, a book based on the US sniper with the most recorded kills in US military history.
Are you a fan of high cheekbones and god knows why find yourself attracted to Angelina Jolie? Well here’s seven new images for Disney’s villain origin tale Maleficent, which apparently also stars medieval Elysium Kruger:

In a world, where one man narrated all the movie trailers, there was only one king. And that king is no longer with us. Movie trailer voice guy legend Hal Douglas passed away due to complications from pancreatic cancer. Douglas recorded literally thousands of trailers , setting a benchmark for future narrators on the edge of space.
Here’s some of the last work that Douglas recorded, spoofing himself for the documentary Comedian.
