Yes, the Vikings are back for another season to remind you why you all hate gingers. More raping and pillaging will come to your screens as Vikings is picked up for another 10 episodes for their 3rd season. History will bring back Ragnar and his insatiable thirst for conquest sometime in 2015, in a show that is attracting on average 3.4 million viewers.

History general manager Dirk Hoogstra said “With its large, passionate and loyal fan base, Vikings has cemented History firmly in the scripted series genre,” and that “Vikings has taken viewers by storm and has established itself as one of the most compelling, visually stunning dramas on television”.

Although not as violent or sexually explicit as fictional fantasy Game of Thrones, Vikings attempts to track the rise of the Vikings and their influence over Britain. Travis Fimmel, who plays warrior and leader Ragnar, has also starred opposite Patrick Swayze in The Beast and was a former Calvin Klein model.

  1. I don’t need a reminder, so no reason to watch it. *cough*

Why do you say that? Thought it was brilliant. I fear people expect swearing, fucking and dwarfs these days to make the cut.

I personally find Game of Thrones pretentious, confusing, and boring until the last two episodes of each season. Vikings I found just boring, well made though.

Life’s too short to waste time watching unnecessary shows.

Not really the swearing and fucking stuff, but to me it just seems too mellow and dull.

I watched three episodes. Two more than feel that it deserved.
