SNOWPIERCER

It’s been a while since we’ve heard anything about Snowpiercer. There’s been a trailer or two, and a massive battle wherein director Bong Joon-Ho strived to keep the original cut of his movie intact, one wherein action and visual effects were balanced with a strong critique of the social class system. Joon-Ho won that battle eventually, ensuring that his movie would be equal parts cerebral and action-packed. And the latest trailer hammers that point home in a train ride around the world.

In this sci-fi epic from director Bong Joon-Ho (The Host, Mother), a failed global-warming experiment kills off most life on the planet.  The final survivors board the SNOWPIERCER, a train that travels around the globe via a perpetual-motion engine. When cryptic messages incite the passengers to revolt, the train thrusts full-throttle towards disaster.

Snowpiercer stars Chris EvansJohn HurtJamie BellEd HarrisAlison PillEwen BremnerOctavia SpencerKang-ho Song, and Ko Asung. It’s finally out on June 27.

It was meant largely in jest. But yeah, that was the how-many-eth trailer with a Yahoo embed I’d seen at the site that day.

If there is a YouTube embed available, go with that as Yahoo video player stutters and lags and is generally built in a way makes watching trailers not fun.

        It’s shit , quite frankly

I agree with everything you’ve just said. Now please go tell the guys in Hollywood as well, as most of them seem to have exclusive release deals with Yahoo. Generally the clip only shows up on Youtube a day or two afterwards.

I got you. Sorry. Didn’t mean to be a pissy dick or anything.

No need to apologize, dude. I didn’t mean to be admonishing at all. The Yahoo player pisses me off to no end as well.
