Age of ultron poster

Most movie posters these days, are rather crap. They’re all a mix of teal and blue backgrounds, with a cliched tagline thrown in for good measure. But Comic Con posters are a different breed. These A1 sheets can help sell a film, and the more vibrant and unique they are, the better they are. Here’s some of the best such posters which are dotting the corridors of hall H at the moment.

There’s some great stuff here. Examples of less is more, Batflecks bat-chin, the colouful world of the dead and more. And I’d love to have all of these cinematic masterpieces decorating my wall right now.

So what’s your favourite SDCC poster?

I wouldn’t mind having a few of those up on the wall.

The Cap America part of the Avengers poster is awesome and I have a huge soft spot for anything Heavy Metal. That movie influenced me way too much as a young perv… um… impressionable teenager.

I really hope this Mad Max movie is going to be at least a 75% decent reboot due to my fanboyism of Mad Max, The Road Warrior and Tom Hardy.

I don’t like the turquoise on the Guardians poster. I never mind some retro minimalism but after all the bright colours and music from the trailer it just seems too bland. That said, every poster that looks like the theatrical Avengers poster annoys me as they’re far too busy. With that said, I loooove that Avengers poster, sigh (Cap America fanboy).

Also, I decided to fix the Horns poster for you.

I’ve never heard of Chappie before, but that poster looks like the most interesting of the lot.
