Into The Woods is the upcoming musical based on the hit Broadway show tying the classic Grimm fairytales such as Little Red Riding Hood, Cinderella, Rapunzel and Jack and the Beanstalk together with an original story of a baker and his wife who wish to start a family, but are cursed by a witch. The first images were shown here and the trailer here.
Now Entertainment Weekly has released magazine covers giving us our first good look at most of the major characters – The Wolf & Little Red Riding Hood, Cinderella & her Prince, The Witch & Rapunzel, and The Baker and his Wife. Merryl Streep as The Witch looks particularly good. Not really sold on the look of Johnny Depp as The Wolf though, I miss the days when he’d play a real person. Anyway, see below!
