Avengers AOE (17)

Here it is! The first Avengers: Age Of Ultron trailer! Out now a week early, because HEY STOP SHOVING ME THE TRAILER WON’T DISAPPEAR OW OW REMEMBER ME AS A HERO!

Marvel Studios presents “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” the epic follow-up to the biggest Super Hero movie of all time. When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to The Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for an epic and unique global adventure.

Like what you saw? Well since I’m in a good mood after being trampled to death (I got better), here’s a ton of screencaps as well, so you can see all the crucial scenes in case your work hates you and doesn’t allow you to peruse the YouTubes:

And last but certainly not least, a brand new poster!

We’ll most likely have a more detailed breakdown of the trailer and it’s various scenes, in the next couple of days. I’d write something now, but I’m too busy looking for my jaw that dropped off my face. Avengers: Age Of Ultron is out on May 1, 2015.

What do you think? could Andy Serkis be playing Ulysses Klaw? http://img1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20120520024309/marveldatabase/images/0/0b/Ulysses_Klaw_(Earth-616).gif

I’ve been trying to figure it out as well. Klaw certainly fits his physical appearance, and there’s the fact that he is a major villain for Black Panther which we all know is all but officially in development.

Yep, I’m with Kervyn on this one. And Serkis getting such a role makes me way too happy.

Theorist hat: We already know that Cap’s Shield contains Vibranium, And it gets Torn apart, as seen in the trailer. Maybe Ulysses Klaw is a Black market Vibranium dealer. Which would link him to Wakanda and Black Panther. Stark, considering his past, could have known about him.

          POTENTIAL SPOILER ALERT:

According to a rumour that began with Devin Faraci on Badass Digest, one of the earlier drafts of the script had Black Panther and Captain Marvel being brought in close to the end of the movie. CM coz of some military connection, and BP coz of the vibranium.

Can you imagine if Marvel has already cast these roles and has just been sitting on it the whole time, and then people see that shit happen in the movie? The internet will break in half!

It would be the best kept secrets of the Modern Cinematic Age!

Marvel have been very good at keeping secrets. The fact that they have kept so many secrets is incredible. The 2 biggest secrets so far being Shield takeover in Cap 2 and Mandarin in IronMan 3. None of us knew what was coming until we watched the movies (unless you didn’t watch it straight away).

Like Darryn pointed out to me in a private chat, this is clearly some fictionalized fantasy version of South Africa, because those SAPS officers actually look fit.

This movie would win, if they set it in District 9’s universe.
Imagine an army of prawns and SA mercs led by Tony Stark…
