Razzies

…most likely being dreaded by overachieving actors in Hollywood right now. HEY-OOH! While Oscar season may be upon us, so are the Razzies, the awards which celebrate the very worst that Hollywood has to offer. Normally held the night before the Oscars, this year’s Razzies will take place on February 21.

Here’s the full list of nominees, which is taking an easy shot at the likes of Adam Sandler, Michael Bay musical remakes. But mostly Kirk Cameron, who has notched up  an entire 8 nominations. Razzies have become a bit ridiculous. I understand that lots of people didn’t enjoy A Million Ways To Die In The West, but just about nobody was complaining about Cameron Diaz’s performance. In fact, it was probably some of the most charming work she’s done in ages.

Also TMNT doesn’t deserve to be there. It has it’s problems, but it’s a way better – and most importantly: fun – movie than most people were expecting. Megan Fox is godawful in it though.

Kirk Cameron reminds me a bit of a friend I once had. Good chap for most of it and Christian like hell!
One evening, we were strolling out of the movie theatre when he turned to me and with a serious face said: You know what? I am the most humble man you would ever meet!

If you picture your story, but with Nicholas Cage instead, it somehow makes perfect sense.

But Mel Gibson was the bit part of Expendables 3…

Yeah, he was easily my favourite thing in the movie. Just chewing scenery with such relish!
