Nimoy

Nimoy will forever be linked to the role of the Vulcan Starfleet officer Spock, which he played from 1966-1969 in the original TV series, and reprised later on in various franchise films along the way. Nimoy also acted in Mission: Impossible, Fringe, hosted In Search Of and Ancient Mysteries. Beyond mere acting, Nimoy also recorded music, performed on stage, and wrote and directed films and television.

Nimoy wasl also a voice actor veteran, having appeared several times in The Simpsons, voicing Galvatron in the animated Transformers movie and returning to the live-action version of the Michael bay film series to voice Sentinel Prime. The iconic actor will always be inexorably linked to Star Trek, having become the face of not one but several incarnations of the sci-fi franchise.

RIP Mr. Spock. You certainly did live long and prosper.

What a great man and actor – my personal favourites being Star Trek(probably obvious), but also Fringe – he really brought something extra!
