Thanks to the successes of Arrow and The Flash, and also Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and most recently Agent Carter, there’s a current boom of superpowered folk on TV, with more showing up every week. But when it comes to Powers, Sony’s upcoming adaptation Brian Michael Bendis and Mike Avon Oeming’s critically acclaimed comic, it’s all about not having superpowers. At least when it comes to Sharlto Copley’s Christian Walker, an ex-superhero who’s lost his powers and become a detective who now has to police the very people he used to fly around in the sky with.

The awesome first red-band trailer introduced us to the bigger world in Powers as well as all the other characters in it, but a new teaser trailer has just dropped that focuses on Walker’s identity crisis on trying to come to terms with his new role in the ground. It’s only 40 seconds long, but still packs a pretty decent punch. Plus, more Sharlto Copley is never a bad thing.

Damn! Now that is how you do an effective teaser! Along with that half a minute of brilliance, there’s also a nearly 8-minute long inside look at the entire world that’s been translated from the comic book page to the TV screen. It’s a great rundown of all the characters and actors and how the world is put together.

Powers will be debuting on Sony’s Playstation Network on March 10, 2015.
