The endgame is approaching in the final episodes of THE FLASH

Man, that season finale is starting to pick up speed. It’s been a while since I’ve enjoyed the first season of a new show so much, and once you get past the few faults that The Flash (Cheesy romance, a secret identity that ain’t exactly a secret and Iris being thicker than concrete), the show succeeds on multiple levels.

There’s still a few episodes to go however, so brace yourself for some spoilers in the trailer and words below:

To amp up the excitement, an action-packed trailer from The Flash team offered fans an extended preview of the final episodes of the breakout hit series’ lightning charged first season. The exclusive sneak peek not only featured guest star Emily Kinney (The Walking Dead) as Central City’s latest meta-human menace Brie Larvan aka Bug-Eyed Bandit, and the return of a few fan-favorite Rogues in The Mist, Weather Wizard & Rainbow Raider, but also featured a few familiar faces from Starling City’s Team Arrow, including Brandon Routh (as The Atom) and a glimpse of Arrow’s Stephen Amell standing shoulder to shoulder with cousin Robbie Amell (as Firestorm) and the Scarlet Speedster himself!

After last week’s revelation that Professor Harrison Wells is not only the Reverse-Flash, but Eobard Thawne wrapped in the skin of the Flash’s closest ally, you know that the final episodes are going to be explosive. And man oh man, that trailer had it all. Gorilla Grodd! The Atom! The Arrow! Twists! Payoffs! Iris presumably still being oblivious to the obvious!

And most importantly, time travel, as the Flash is going to need to make one hell of a decision or risk everything when the timey-wimey wall comes crashing down on him. The finish line is almost in sight, and I’d hate to see The Flash trip up when it’s so close to first place. But so far, that magic lightning hasn;t just strike twice. It’s done so several times in multiple episodes.
