Is it wise to go bigger and better with a winning idea? When said idea involves genetically re-engineering dinosaurs to be more brutal, intelligent and kickass, then I say damn the consequences and hells yes! After all, I’m fairly certain that I can outrun Nick, and there are plenty more Capetonians where he came from who are willing to overlook the fine print in their contract about possibly being devoured by said beastly abominations.

Anyway, enough waffling, here’s the latest trailer for Jurassic World, which shows off the Indominus Rex in all its glory!

Steven Spielberg returns to executive produce the long-awaited next installment of his groundbreaking Jurassic Park series, Jurassic World. Colin Trevorrow directs the epic action-adventure based on the novel “Jurassic Park” by Michael Crichton. Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley join the team as producers.

Now that’s an intriguing hook. The Indominus Rex already had plenty going for it. It was bigger, meaner and cleverer than the average dinosaur, with a craving for pickernick baskets and human flesh. But a super-alpha male dinosaur that can also control various species of Cretaceous leftovers into following its orders? Now that’s just downright frightening.

Jurassic World opens in 3D on June 12th, and stars Chris Pratt , Bryce Dallas Howard, Nick Robinson, Ty Simpkins, Vincent D’Onofrio, Irrfan Khan, Jake Johnson, Omar Sy and Judy Greer.
