Ooga chakka! Ooga chakka! I can’t stop this feeling, deep inside of me! Girl you just don’t realise what waiting for a new Guardians Of The Galaxy movie is going to do to me! Guardians Of The Galaxy 2 is still quite a ways off, but honestly, I can wait. And that’s because the same crew is coming back for the sequel, including director James Gunn.

Gunn recently took to Facebook to answer some pressing questions. Such as the validity of a second Awesome Mix tape, whether or not the Hulk will be present and a sneak peek at a line fo dialogue from the film. Highlights below:

MOST of my writing is done while writing a scriptment – which, in this case, took months and months. It’s seventy pages long – the majority of a script, with every beat and even a lot of dialogue. I then turn that into a script, which is written in screenplay format, with scenes, etc. What I’ve been doing the last 48 days is turning the scriptment into a screenplay.

I pick every song myself. There has never been any input from anyone else.

It’s already in my head, and every song is in the script, just as I did on the first movie.

I am Groot.

We will see Star-Lord’s father in this movie.

They will not team up with Hulk.

Yes, the main cast is all coming back, along with a few others from the first film.

No. What I said was we’ll get to know characters better. We’ll learn how they are better than we think in some ways, and worse than we think in other ways. It bothers me that that quote got taken out of context, because I get this question a lot.

Guardians of the Galaxy 2 opens May 5, 2017, and stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, and features the voices of Bradley Cooper and Vin Diesel.
