It’s almost Halloween, which means we’re almost done with the scary-movie-themed Midweek Movie Mouth-Offs. I have to say, it’s been challenging thinking up new topics around a genre of movie that I try my best to avoid, and not double up on topics from last year, but we’ve had a lot of interesting discussions! I thought I’d end this year’s Halloween debates with a random fun question.

Movies and TV are obviously great sources of inspiration for Halloween costumes. My Halloween outfit from last year (and this year’s cosplay at rAge) was an incredibly fun costume of Shaun from Shaun of the Dead, complete with tie, name badge and cricket bat. This year, I’m dressing up as Tinkerbell, thanks to a cartoon-themed party and the fact that I already own the prosthetic pixie ears. Among my group of friends I’ve seen everything from Harry Potter to Adventure Time, Rick and Morty to The Flintstones. You can have a lot of fun at Halloween if you’re a TV/movie nerd!

So which movie or TV character are you looking forward to dressing up as this year? Bonus points if you show us pics!

The mrs and I are actually going to a Halloween party on Saturday dressed as Lt Commander Harmon Rabb and Lt Colonel Sarah MacKenzie – 2 characters from both of our favourite series from back in the day, JAG. 🙂 Seriously looking forward to it.

Also have a Holloween dress-up at work tomorrow… So considering whether or not I should just wear the JAG suit for that too, or should I get something else for the day… Decisions, decisions. 🙂
