Based on a true story of a covert operation with the same name we get the story for this World War 2 thriller, Anthropoid. Starring Cillian Murphy and Jamie Dornan as two Czech soldiers that have been tasked with the mission of assassinating SS General Reinhard Heydrich, the Reich’s third in command after Adolf Hitler and Heinrich Himmler. Assassination thriller of evil Nazi warlord? Sounds good enough, right?

Well that trailer certainly seems intense and without too much knowledge on the history of this mission there is definitely enough here to pique my interest. Directed by Sean Ellis the cast is rounded off by Toby Jones, Harry Lloyd, Sam Keeley, and Bill Milner as well as an assembly of international talent that includes Charlotte Le Bon, Anna Geislerová, Alena Mihulová, Marcin Dorocinski, Jirí Simek, Mish Boyko, Václav Neuzil and Andrej Polák.
