I genuinely do not think it’s possible for me to get any more excited for Westworld than I already am. If I were to absorb any more hype, I would essentially turn into a chihuahua on a caffeine rush. Or Nick. One of those two. But basically, I just cannot wait any longer to slap my eyeballs onto HBO’s upcoming adaptation of Michael Chrichton’s classic 1973 sci-fi western.
Even if I wasn’t as big a fan as I am of the original, just the cast alone of this new re-imagining from the team of Jonathan and Lisa Joy Nolan – helped out a bit by JJ Abrams as well – would get me foaming at the mouth. Just look at these names of award winners and fan favourites: Anthony Hopkins, Ed Harris, Evan Rachel Wood, James Marsden, Thandie Newton, Jeffrey Wright, Tessa Thompson, Jimmi Simpson, Rodrigo Santoro, Clifton Collins, Jr. and much, much more.
