Rising star Ellen Page may be fiddling around in all kinds of films about mutants and dream-scapes, but it looks like she’s about to add director to her career resume. The young actress has a movie to helm, and to do it, she’s recruiting the unrequited love of my life, Anna Faris for the project.
Miss Stevens will star Faris as a teacher who sets out on a camping trip with her pupils, albeit while her entire life is in a chaotic tailspin down, says Deadline. Feeling more unappreciated than a fart in a perfume factory, Faris will bond with her pupils in the film, an emotional attachment that helps her realize just how important she is in real life.
Sounds…schmaltzy. Miss Stevens has a script in place from Julia Hart, and starts shooting once Page finishes her acting commitments in X-Men: Days of Future Past and Freeheld. As for Faris, she’s most likely regretting the fact that she was in Movie 43 (Opens today kids!), and will also be seen in I give it a year and some audio work in Cloudy with a chance of meatballs 2.
