Directed by Stephen van Vuuren, In Saturn’s Rings is the culmination of over a million still photos of the ringed planet, all done without the need of any of that high-falutin’ fancy CGI stuff that is all the rage these days. Never have I been sadder today that we don’t have a local IMAX cinema anymore. The film will be hitting that massive resolution screen so far, and I can’t think of a better use of that humongous technology, than to capture the cold, dark, vacuumed majesty of space with.
